I am the mother to 2 beautiful daughters; the youngest has both Type I diabetes and Celiac disease. She does have an insulin pump and must maintain a gluten-free diet. I have lots of late or sleepless nights rechecking her blood sugar. My oldest daughter plays the baritone in the high school marching band.
I graduated from Vina High School in the small town of Vina Alabama in 1998 and have three degrees from Bevill State Community College: Paralegal, Associate in Applied Science; Criminal Justice, Associate in Arts; and General Studies, Associate in Science. I graduated from Athens State University in 2017 with my Bachelor of Science, Business Management and am currently working toward a Masters degree in Career and Technical Education at Athens State University.
I work full-time in the Office of Student Services for last 5 years and taught GED classes for 2 years prior to that.
